A Plastics Manufacturing Partner Built on Accountability

Engineering-led injection molding with a customer-first approach, rooted in Northeast Ohio since 1972.

From One Machine to a Trusted Manufacturing Partner

PharoPLAST was founded in 1972 as Innovations in Plastic, starting out with a single injection molding machine in a small rented space in Cleveland, Ohio.

That small shop grew into a trusted supplier over time, building a reputation for reliability, responsiveness, and quality execution. By the early 2000s, the company was serving both regional and national customers, including manufacturers such as Parker Hannifin, Eaton, and Steris.

In 2022, ownership transitioned to Christopher Miedza, a longtime tooling and design partner. While the name changed to PharoPLAST, the core of the business did not. The people, facility, and commitment to delivering excellence in every part we mold all remain in place to this day.

Built for Today’s Manufacturing Reality

Manufacturing has changed. Supply chains are tighter. Timelines are shorter. Engineering teams are under more pressure, often without deep plastics specialization.

PharoPLAST has evolved to meet these realities by focusing on:
  • Engineering-led plastics manufacturing
  • Domestic production and reshoring support
  • Tooling practices that reduce long-term risk
  • Responsive, relationship-driven service
The goal is not just to make parts, but to help customers avoid the problems that slow launches, disrupt production, and create internal escalations. Even as manufacturing changes, our goal remains clear: to make it easy for our customers to invest in cost-effective, reliable plastic parts.

Our Values, Reflected in Our Work

Customer-Centric Service

Icons Engineering Support

Our success is tied directly to our customers’ success. Decisions are made with long-term outcomes in mind, not short-term wins.

Family-Owned Accountability

As a family-owned company, accountability is personal. Customers work directly with people who have authority to act and resolve issues.

Ethical, Transparent Practices

We believe in clear communication, honest recommendations, and transparency around tooling, cost, and tradeoffs.

Innovation with Purpose

Icons Tooling-Mold Building

We always strive for new ways to improve manufacturability, reliability, and production outcomes, not add complexity for its own sake.

Engineering at the Center of What We Do

Most injection molding problems start before a part ever reaches the press. That challenge is why engineering plays a central role at PharoPLAST.

Engineering is not a detached consulting service at PharoPLAST. It is directly tied to tooling decisions, production planning, and long-term success. We bring plastics-specific design and manufacturability expertise into projects early, helping customers:
  • Catch design risks before tooling is cut
  • Reduce rework, scrap, and cosmetic issues
  • Launch products faster by doing things right the first time
  • Maintain stable production over the life of a program
The goal is not just to make parts, but to help customers avoid the problems that slow launches, disrupt production, and create internal escalations. Even as manufacturing changes, our goal remains clear: to make it easy for our customers to invest in cost-effective, reliable plastic parts.

Regionally Focused. Personally Responsive

Based in Northeast Ohio, PharoPLAST works closely with manufacturers across the Midwest and beyond. Our location allows for easier collaboration, quicker response when issues arise, and stronger long-term partnerships.

Customers are not routed through layers of account management. They have direct access to engineers, leadership, and decision-makers who understand their programs and can act quickly.

PharoPLAST Fitness Check

PharoPLAST works best with companies that:
  • Value predictability over marketing promises
  • Want engineering involvement tied to real production outcomes
  • Expect transparency around tooling and cost
  • Prefer a responsive, accountable partner over a transactional vendor
If a project is not a good fit, we will be upfront about it and help guide you in the right direction.
